Make a Difference for Girls and Adults at Girl Scouts of Western NY
Girl Scout volunteers have fun! They also gain valuable experiences.
As a volunteer, you will
- Make a difference in the lives of girls and young women.

- Make new friends.
- Gain a sense of belonging.
- Learn new skills.

To support our volunteers, Girl Scouts of Western New York offers a comprehensive continuing education program in leadership development, Girl Scout program skills, and administrative and management skills. Many of these trainings are provided at no cost. Classes are offered at sites within the nine county council jurisdiction, as well as, at the five Girl Scouts of Western New York Service Centers.

What Can I Do?
There's lots to do in Girl Scouts. You may want to volunteer but don't have enough time to be a troop leader or you may not want to work directly with girls. Troops are an important part of Girl Scout, but there are many amazing opportunities. You may be ready for a new challenge or you may know someone who is. We guarantee there is a volunteer opportunity to suit your lifestyle and needs. When you volunteer for an hour, you will feel terrific knowing you have helped girls grow strong and YOU will have a blast!
