Some of the first Girl Scouts pose with Girl Scout Founder Juliette Gordon Low

Each year, girls from around the world celebrate Girl Scout Week in a variety of ways. The celebration begins the first Sunday and concludes on the following Saturday. This allows girls of all faiths to celebrate on their chosen day of worship. It also includes the birthdate of Girl Scouts, March 12, 1912. Many troops do something for each day of the week to celebrate this special time.

My Promise, My Faith Awards

The My Promise, My Faith award helps girls understand how Girl Scouting and faith offer similar ideas about how to act. It is a way for girls to learn how Girl Scouting complements and enriches their faith. Girls can earn the My Promise, My Faith award each year they are a registered Girl Scout.

Choose a different line of the Law each year. There are just five easy steps to earn the pin.
