Thousands of Girl Scouts around the country gather for a national sing-along on the Mall
June 23, Niagara Falls, NY, Rock the Falls!
Girl Scouts of WNY will “Rock Out” in celebration of our 100th Anniversary at one of the world’s greatest wonders! The first ever Rock the Falls will take place on Saturday, June 23, 2012 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. at Niagara Falls State Park, USA. Thousands of Girl Scouts and Girl Guides of all ages will join in for an unprecedented Sing-Along of traditional and historical Girl Scout Songs. The Sing-Along event will take place at Goat Island overlooking the Niagara River. A camp-out (optional) will follow at Old Fort Niagara that evening.
- The cost to attend Rock the Falls is only $10, including a t-shirt and patch
- The special attraction package for Niagara Falls is the Niagara Falls State Park discovery pass. The cost is $26 for those under 12, and $33 for those over 12. This will include Maid of the Mist, Cave of the Winds, Legends of Adventure Theater, Aquarium of Niagara, Discovery Center and other exciting attractions at a discounted rate.
- An array of accommodations for Friday and Saturday evenings including local hotels, camping and tent rentals will be available for Girls travelling from out of the area.
