In celebration of Black History Month, girls will learn about 3 incredible women through the use of symbolic storytelling. Afterward, using what they've learned about symbolism, they will get the chance to create their own self-portrait. Girls must supply their own glue, scissors, pencil, 2-3 sheets of paper, and coloring supplies (such as markers, colored pencils, and/or crayons).
