Many different skills form the building blocks for camping! A few
of those skills could include: making a fire, hiking, nature
awareness, first aid basics, dish washing, kaper charts or knife
safety. This program will give you the chance to work on some of
these skills while enjoying the outdoors!
These skills will help
you gain the confidence to camp with your troop or your family.
Daisies will earn the Buddy Camper Badge and Brownies will earn the
Cabin Camper Badge. Please note that any adult leader/volunteer
attendees will earn requirements necessary to take girls cabin camping
per the Safety Activity Checkpoints requirements. Leaders/adults are
required for entire program for supervision.
Lunch, dinner,
breakfast and snack are included. This program is one overnight with
participants staying in the lodge with other troops.
