Winter camping can be lots of fun if you know how to stay warm and you are not afraid of a little work. Gathering firewood, building a fire, going for a hike, collecting water from a frozen lake, and cooking over a woodstove are just a few of the things you will experience in this challenge filled program. Girls will have a choice of a 4 season tent to themselves with Zero Degree sleeping bags and additional insulating gear, or a group canvas wall tent with wood burning stove for additional warmth throughout the night. Fee includes 4 energy packed meals, use of GSWNY winter camping gear, fun patch, and 40+ hours of winter camping experiences you will never forget. This will be led by GSWNY staff who have experience and knowledge in winter camping - Adults do not have to attend with the girls.
