Special Weather Alert 🚨

Dear Camp Windy Meadows and Camp Piperwood Parents and Guardians,

Our campers’ safety is very important to us. The GSWNY camp team is closely monitoring the air quality across Western New York this week, and will continue to do so throughout the summer camp season. We have an Air Quality Safety Protocol in place and the camp staff are trained and ready to respond accordingly.

Tomorrow (Friday, 7/17) due to the air quality all camp activities at Camp Windy Meadows and Camp Piperwood will occur indoors where the buildings are air conditioned. Campers will rotate to different buildings to accommodate for specific activities and will remain indoors until dismissal time in the afternoon at 4 p.m.

If you choose not to send your child to camp tomorrow (Friday) please notify the Windy Meadows camp director Linda (Captain Z) at 716 208 7796 and or the assistant camp director Renee at 585 223 2651.

At our beautiful camp properties, everyone is welcomed into a supportive environment full of positivity, grounded in Girl Scout traditions and strengthened by lasting friendships.
