Kick off her summer adventure with Get Ready with Girl Scouts™, a school readiness program designed just for new members – perfect for making friends and beginning her Girl Scout journey! When she joins, she’ll enjoy: - Three activity books, aligned to school readiness standards and filled with fun summer activities! When you join Girl Scouts between April 1 and June 15, you’ll receive an invitation to Let’s Go Outside! —a lively, interactive online experience hosted by the Smithsonian’s National Zoo & Conservation Biology Institute. During this special event, you’ll meet amazing animals up close, get your questions answered by zoo experts, and enjoy a behind‑the‑scenes adventure.
Space is limited and available on a first‑come, first‑served basis, so signing up early gives you the best chance to join the fun.

Girls and adults are both new to Girl Scouts at this level and that means we are looking for confident, encouraging adults to run Girl Scout troops. Best part? You don’t have to be a parent. Grandparents, aunts, adult role models are all welcomed to join your girls new adventure as she embarks to Kindergarten.
