"* Oyez Gentle Scouts! Come to Camp Seven Hills to travel
through time and experience life in the Medieval days!! See how things
were done in the past! Learn historical skills!
* Open to all
troop levels and families!
* Activities will include hands-on
archery, arts and sciences, such as leather working and calligraphy;
historical fighting demos, meet your local Baron & Baroness, and
more!
* Want to make it feel even more immersive? Want to come
in medieval garb? Make your own with your troop before the
event!
* Bring your own lunch.
* This event is being
hosted by the Barony of the Rhydderich Hael, with guests from The
Barony of Thescorre (Rochester) and the Shire of Heronter (Jamestown),
as well as other regions. All groups are part of the Society for
Creative Anachronism, an inclusive, international organization
pursuing research and re-creation of pre-seventeenth century skills,
arts, combat and culture.
