Today, as we celebrate Girl Scout Leader's Day, I want to extend my
gratitude to every one of you. Your dedication and commitment to the
Girl Scout mission is truly remarkable and it's our privilege to be
working alongside every single one of you! We are building our
leaders of tomorrow, I believe it’s our duty to cultivate our girls to
be the leaders “THEY” desire to be.
As GSWNY Leaders, you embody the spirit of building girls of
courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place.
Your passion and tireless efforts in mentoring, supporting, and
leading Girl Scouts are commendable. From organizing troop meetings to
coordinating cookie sales, facilitating enriching programs, planning
unforgettable camp experiences, and demonstrating selfless acts of
love, you play a pivotal role in shaping the Girl Scout journey for
our council.
Troop meetings serve as the cornerstone of the Girl Scout
experience, providing girls with a safe and nurturing environment to
learn, grow, and develop lifelong friendships & sisterhoods.
Through your guidance, girls discover their strengths, explore new
interests, and embrace being their true authentic selves which
promotes inclusivity.
Your selfless acts of love do not go unnoticed. Whether it's
lending a listening ear, offering words of encouragement, or going
above and beyond to ensure every girl feels valued and supported, your
kindness leaves a mark on the hearts of those you serve.
