WE@RIT (Women in Engineering) invites GSWNY to attend its Fall 2026 Engineering Open House outreach program. Designed for youth in grades 5th through 8th, the Engineering Open House offers a buffet of engineering activities and demonstrations to ignite curiosity in the field of engineering. Engineering activities will be led by current RIT engineering students within the WE@RIT Community, and will include activities representing Biomedical, Chemical, Computer, Electrical, Industrial & Systems and Mechanical Engineering. Presented in true open house fashion, youth and chaperones are invited to explore the stations at their leisure during open house hours. RIT's beloved mascot RITchie the Tiger will be on site and encourages everyone to come in their Halloween costumes for added fun! Please note that youth must be accompanied by a chaperone at all times. *must ensure at least 1 chaperone for every 8 youth
All are welcome at this event, regardless of gender or identity.
